Some Santas on Bikes collecting for the Mayor’s Charities.

On Saturday 14th, Castle-Craft joined some other crafters in the South Molton Town Hall for the Mayor’s Charities appeal, Santa on a Bike day. Unfortunately, the contents of a craft stall, even light weight Felt Figures and Pictures, is just too mnuch to carry on a bike so we were not able to join in the Bike riding, but a big Well Done to the bikers, about four hundred of them, who turned out in Santa suits and decorated bikes to collect money. And especially to the bike stewards. The craft market was upstairs in the Town Hall, above the Pannier Market, whitch is well worth visiting anytime of year. The Craft Fair is a new addition to the Christmas Festivities in the town and not many people new about it. A few Crafters went down and spread the word in the town square which brought a few more people up. We hope the idea takes off, and mabe more crafters can make it an even bigger event next year.
